Tom is doing really well. He tires easily but is regaining his strength. He naps a couple times a day. He drives himself on short jaunts, like to the store, to Sertoma, and to the hospital to visit his childhood friend Al. Al fell 10 feet, landing on his back, and fracturing back parts. Al is getting better now, too.

The Homecoming: The Maiers returned from Europe, Erik returned from Amtrak assistant conductor school in DC, Papa returned from the hospital, and we're all together for the first time in a couple months!

He looks like he has lost some weight. I still worry about him, but I know my lovely aunt is taking wonderful care of him. Please call if you need help, or anything at all. We love you, love Cori.

Tom has lost about 20-25 pounds but that is how he wants it. He is still trying to lose weight but it is much harder now. I think he is really healthy, eats balanced meals and doesn't overstuff. Next Tuesday he goes in for another heart stress test. Also, the heart doctor said today that he thinks Tom is doing great! His strength is coming back; we have to exercise more of course!

To those that know him: A. Gessner is now in the hosp. They now diagnosed a blood clot in a lung and have him on cumudin. He is uncomfortable in bed on his broken back; still hospitalized. Updates as I hear.....
