Denise and Chris hosted the Mille Cugini annual yard sale at their home, in conjunction with the Riverside Community Yard Sale. The proceeds of this yard sale benefit our scholarship fund. And we had great time visiting! And being entertained by the neighbor gal who tried the roller skates and ran into a car!
Also, today was the surprise 65th birthday party for my school friend Betty. Sandie, Rita, Dede, Sally, Betty and I went to lunch at Grilla Bites. Supposedly it was a surprise lunch for Ginger's birthday but Ginger is on the Nile. Betty didn't know that but we all thought it strange Ginger couldn't show up to her own party! Then we went thru some of the clever shops on First Street in Snohomish and happened into the Waltz Building where there just happened to be a party waiting of all Betty's old Snohomish friends and family. It was great. I thought Betty was going to cry but she controlled herself. Happy Birthday, Betty!
